Some weddings are quiet and intimate and full of a love that you can just feel it. Adam and Rebekah’s wedding at Country Pines just outside of Lincoln, Nebraska was exactly that. As a Lincoln wedding photographer, days like this one remind me why I love what I do — and this day was extra special for a reason close to my heart.
Rebekah is my cousin and I loved getting to watch her marry her person. It made every moment so sweet. I have had the privilege of witnessing a lot of love stories — and this one I got to witness as family first, and photographer second.
A Lincoln Wedding | First Look at Country Pines
The day began with one of my all-time favorite moments to photograph — the first look. Adam anxiously waiting. Rebekah walking toward him in her gorgeous lace gown and the moment he turned and saw her — that expression said everything words couldn’t. Still and in awe. They held hands, they spun a little, they laughed, and just took it all in.

The Ceremony at Country Pines
The ceremony was held outdoors under a stunning rustic log arch draped in soft sage green and blush fabric, flanked by wine barrels and wildflowers. Country Pines provided the most beautiful natural backdrop — green and lush and full of the kind of quiet Nebraska beauty that never gets old. Rebekah walked down the aisle on her father’s arm, smiling from ear to ear, while Adam waited for her with so much love on his face.
Their vows were intimate and heartfelt. I loved the meaningful memorial detail near the altar — a sign that read “A chord of three strands is not easily broken” — a nod to their faith and commitment that set the tone for everything that followed. After the ceremony, the two walked hand in hand away from the arch and into their new life as husband and wife.

The Details
The details at Country Pines were simple, intentional, and so perfectly them. Guests took home individual succulent plants as favors — tucked along a long wooden farm table in the most charming display. A wooden guestbook sign, mason jar centerpieces, and a beautiful two-tiered cake with a gold A&R monogram topper rounded out the day’s aesthetic. The sweetheart table featured a custom wooden sign reading “Adam and Rebekah Kottas — Established June 6, 2025”.

Lincoln Wedding Portraits in the Vineyard
After the ceremony, we slipped away into the vineyard for portraits. Walking between the rows of green vines with the soft cloudy sky, leaning into each other, laughing — Adam and Rebekah were completely natural and themselves. The vineyard setting gave us the most stunning light and the most intimate moments. I just loved it!

Thank You, Adam and Rebekah
Rebekah, watching you walk toward the person who looks at you the way Adam does was so sweet. Thank you for letting me be your photographer and for trusting me with such a precious day. Getting to be there as your cousin and your photographer made this one extra special.
